Baker Group has earned four Best of Des Moines honors in the annual contest held by the Business Record. In addition to the four top honors Baker Group earned runner up honors in a fifth category.

Recognition as the Best of Des Moines came in the categories of Best Mechanical Contractor, Best Electrical Contractor, Best Company to Work For, and Best Security Company. It is the 17^th consecutive year Baker Group has been recognized as Best Mechanical Contractor. Baker Group was honored as runner up in the Best Engineering Firm category. 

The Business Record hosts the survey annually. Nominations are gathered and then readers of the publication and the general public cast votes online.

 Baker Group was also named one of the state’s Top Workplaces by the Des Moines Register for the seventh consecutive year during 2023.
