Buxton Residence Hall provides suite-style housing units for Simpson College. Renovations were completed in the summer of 2000, making it home to 134 students. These renovations changed the rooms to a suite-like arrangement with two rooms sharing a bathroom. As of the summer of 2002, all residence halls are fully air-conditioned.
This project was a fast track design/build project during summer school break. Baker Group added a four pipe fan coil system with mechanical room retrofit and a complete plumbing change out, including risers and fixtures.
